Egg Pancake Roll

Ingredients :

  • Egg - 1

  • Egg yolks - 2

  • Carrot - 100 gms

  • Onion - 100 gms

  • Turnip - 100 gms

  • Bay leaf - 1

  • Cloves - 3

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • A pinch nutmeg

  • Cream - 120 ml

  • Milk - 300 ml

  • Flour - 120 gm

  • Cheese - 50 gms

  • Butter - 50 gms

Method :

  • Make pancakes with egg, milk and flour.

  • Boil chopped onions, carrots, turnips, bay leaf and cloves. Sauté for few
    minutes in a pan with very little butter, and then thicken with it with egg
    and cream.

  • Fold the mixture in the prepared pancakes and cover the pancakes with a
    thick white sauce.

  • Thicken the sauce with egg yolk and cream before pouring on the pancakes.

  • Sprinkle the grated cheese, dot with pepper and butter and grill under the
    griller for a few minutes.

  • Serve hot.
